Deciding to ride

My boyfriend recently purchased a 2008 105th anniversary Road Glide. He decided to keep his 2003 Dyna Wide Glide, with the thought that maybe I would learn to ride it some day. Part of me wants to learn to ride, and part of me doesn't. We were in Sturgis in 2007, and saw a horrific accident happen right in front of us. I think that has made me question whether I really want to ride.
Any Lady riders out there? Opinions on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

I have been riding since 1998 when I bought mine brand new. I did not know how to ride when I bought it. You just have to persevere. In the first three months I had it, I dumped it three times, nothing seriously though, and once in my backyard. You just have to make up your mind this is what you want to do. It is not that scary. I live in a small town so it was easy to just practice going around the blocks.

deciding to ride is a tough decision since you saw a bad accident, my hubby has a 2000 Fat Boy he loves it but he was in a bad wreck in 2001 he was hurt pretty bad but he got right back on that bike but I am only a passenger as I thought about it but decided against it as I can hardly drive a car so he says I think he is relieved that I decided not too but good luck to you
