My 2 yr old dog has a love of power cords and not those not plugged in but those plugged in with the item on. She has chewed up two cords to electric blankets and a cord to my alarm clock. I have no idea what to do to get her to stop. Please HELP!!!!!

Do you just do it, is very dangerous, you can buy games for dog or the bones so chew something that may not do evil.

I agree with skbh on redirecting the chewing onto something appropriate for chewing. If your dog is anything like my dog, using a squirt bottle on them when they start focusing on the object you don't want them to chew on, can be helpful. Squirt and then redirect.
Also, it's helpful to keep all cords wrapped up and put away that aren't in use. For those cords that must be exposed, if you get a couple remnants of carpet or dish towels, you can lay these over top of those cords to kind of hide them from the dog. Hope some of this helps! My mother-in-law has a friend who's cat eats through wires and amazingly hasn't electrocuted itself yet...

well reasons for dogs chewing cords or furnitures maybe because their teeth are growing. just give them a chew bone and everytime they chew on power cords repeatedly remind them not to chew it by saying no to them.. do it everytime you see them for them to remember when you say no it means to theirselves from what they are doing..
