I have two opposing ideas with the " Noah's Ark" or the " doomsday Vault".

i am not a scientist..though i love science subjects..I am not a nerd nor a wizard of anything..I am not a hardliner of any ideology..but still the " Noah's Ark" for the different kinds of seeds from different parts of the world that is now placed somewhere in Norway which the scientist believed is a secured place for the seed vault (because they have studied it very well, i believed) stirred a lot of ideas or feelings (opposing!) from me..and i don't feel unique because i know many people might have the same predicament.
First, I am feeling so sad..humanity might been have so engrossed with their own lives that they have forgotten much about the environment. The seeds are kept in a vault where they dont really belong in the first place. am i making sense?
second, i am thankful of the people behind this noble project and hoping that they have the best intention which is to preserve our natural resources. because the world is getting complicated sometimes you don't know who is the enemy..but what is clear to me is i could be the enemy of my own environment..the best is to watch every steps i make..and be a model to others!

Hi there channuk, I see your points, understand them and kind of agree with them.
It is a shame that humanity has made so much destruction in this world that it is now necessary for us to 'save our seeds' for prosperity. I think it is sad that we have done this but at the same time it is good that we are trying to save the different species, although I am a little hesitant in believing it will do any good. I think the human race is on a collision course with self destruction and that unfortunately we will take a lot of the fauna and flora with us.
It is good that you try to do what you can and be a good model citizen if we all do this then we will be helping the environment a little bit. And every little bit counts.
Thanks for sharing your ideas with us.
