Thoroughrob, thank you for the respond. I did not know you could opt not to enter a 1098 form? I did take it all the way to the end. I took it out when I suspended it and found this was the problem. It is a damn deduction why am I being penalized? I did not need to itemize this year. Not enter form 1098 with mortgage interest & real estate tax? Can I do that?

It is a deduction, but if you don't qualify to itemize, it does not count. I would go to the only free taxcut and find out if it does the same thing, as maybe there is a glitch in their program.
