Earning a vacation...

Some people have no trouble spending 3000$ or more on a 5 day vacation, but I do. It's so hard to spend my hard earned money on a place I've never been.
So I have found myself on website like this for the last few months trying to Earn my vacation. It feels like money I get from the internet is more like "extra" whereas money I earn from work is my hard earned "house" or "car" or "grocery" money.
How about you? Do you use mylot and other sites just to buy yourself some ice cream now and then? Or do you think about the big picture? Every dollar I earn hear is one less dollar I feel guilty about spending on vacation b/c I feel like it's free money. Right now I have almost 12$ here plus baout 100$ from all my other sites, that practically can pay for our dinner cruise on our vacation.
If you are not earning a vacation or something else, what is your motivation to mylot? What do you use the money for? Do you even think about it or do you just add it to your paypal as cash and not even consider where it came from?

I would like to be able to take vacations more often, but the money just never adds up correctly. Extra money from the internet is a fun way to set aside some funds for things like this, but I always end up finding something better come along. It's not hard to spend the money on a nice dinner, or just go to the movies and blow it on the next great blockbuster. If I only I could let the funds sit in my accounts longer!

I do that too! I just got some checks from online earnings and my husband was like "that will cover the groceries" and I was like "No! This is vacation money!!" :)
We try not to blow it without planning on blowing it. After this vacation, I will probably still keep putting earnings into savings b/c then I feel like I have some buffer money in savings and I feel ok if we decide to go to dinner twice in one week :)

Every dollar I earn from the net is special to me. It's $1 closer to earning a full time income online. In the beginning it was a little tough, but now the dollars are becoming more frequent. I am creating a website,

I got a degree in programming a couple of years ago, and it has helped quite a bit in my quest. It's surprising how many people are trying to earn an income online that don't know html. I will know I have met my first goal when both my wife and I are able to stay at home full time.
My main reason for using MyLot is to have fun responding to discussions. I don't have much time to spend here, so I haven't even earned a dollar from this site yet, but close.

Yeah I can't believe how many people run websites that don't even know how to make one themselves. I'm a programmer too so it's sad to see crappy websites out there earning a lot of money :-D
That's a good goal to have. Myself, I knew I could never earn enough online to stay home from work, so I instead use it as extra income.

I have still those money on my account what i earned on mylot and still don't know what i would like to spend it for. Although for vacation, it would have to be years till I earn it, since it is so expensive. Hope you can earn moeny for yours and have a great time.

Hi Vivasuzi, I had the same thought as you, I would save all my earnings for my vacation.I have 5 sister and once a year we rent a cabin somewhere and spend it reconnecting again. It is hard to get together since we are all over and each have busy lives. We started this about 3 years ago, and each year we have had the best time. So like you my online earning are being socked away till I go on sisters week. My yearly vacation.

Right now my motivation to mylot is to earn extra money so I can go on a trip to Branson to see my friends. I dont have money and I dont have a job. Its hard to work where I live. I figure since im online all the time why not make some use of it to keep me busy and in the process earn a little extra since gas is so high.
