What is your favorite gaming console?

I prefer Nintendo DS Lite becouse is small and you can bring it in tour

My favorite gaming console would have to be the playstation 2. We have quite a few games for it and I really like to play Guitar Hero. We have the roiginal game and the second phase of it. We still need to buy the third addition. It is expensive though so we are in no hurry for it.

Sega Genesis and Snes. That are consoles of my childhood, ooo yes I loved them and Game boy was always with me too. Now I'm gettin a little nostalgic...LOL

This is a really good discussion and I am sure there are a lot of people who have one console that the prefer to others since there are so many great consoles out there these days either because of the game selection or because of who makes the console,and then I am sure there are people who do not have a favorite console because they either do not play video games a lot,or they do not like video games because they think they are pointless and do nothing but cause people to be violent and hateful,or because they do not have time to play video games because they are really busy either with their job if they have long hours and a lot of responsibilities or with house work and other chores and if they have children then taking care of their children ,I have always bee a big fan of video games,I still love video games to this day and my fiance likes video games as well,and right now the gaming console that is my favorite would be the Halo 3 Edition X-box 360 which it is something I always wanted,I like the X-box 360 because it has good graphics and it has the ability to turn the system on or off with the controller and it has a good game selection like the game Halo 3 which is only on the X-box 360 and that is part of the reason I wanted it,and the other reason is because I love the Splinter Cell series and Splinter Cell Conviction is coming out only on the X-box 360,PC,and DS I think and I want to get it to finish my collection of Splinter Cell games,another thing I like is that if you get a hard drive you can play X-box games on X-box 360 which is really awesome so you can buy X-box games and save a little money instead of having to buy 360 games which are sometimes expensive,even though my brother has a PlayStation 3 and he likes a lot and he wanted it because of Metal Gear Solid 4 because he loves the Metal Gear Solid series,he says it also has good graphics and he also has the ability to turn it on or off with the controller,and he also has blue ray which is pretty neat,and it has a pretty good selection of games as well,and the only down side is that he can not play PlayStation 2 games on it but he can play PlayStation 1 games on it,and ,and then my fiance wants a Nintendo Wii my cousin has a Nintendo Wii,and when me and my fiance visited my cousin we got to play it and it was a lot of fun and it has a good selection of games and I hear you can play Game Cube games on the Wii which is neat,and Nintendo has some pretty cool sort of role playing games,so all of the newer gaming consoles are great,and I am sure it is hard to choose between them and I used to be purely Nintendo and I had a Game Cube and then I sold it for an X-box and became a Microsoft person and Nintendo person,and when I saw the X-box 360 I knew that was what I want,even though I do like the Nintendo Wii as well because me and my fiance have an Nintendo 64,an Nintendo Game Cube and an X-box ,but we do not have any Sony consoles,and I have never been a big fan of Sony and my brother does not like Microsoft except for the Halo series.

My favourite gaming console is anything that has great games that I can kick rear in and the controller fits into my petite hands. Yep. Tiny hands means most gaming consoles gotta be reworked for me. LOL

I guess for me is the Playstation 1. because that time almost all over our place plays playstation, friends, classmates, neighbors, and family. PC that time is weak in terms of games vs the PS1. Many popular games came out for the Playstation including Final Fantasy VII-IX series, Chrono Cross, Star Ocean 2nd Story, Resident Evil 3, Tekken 3, etc. I guess the Playstation 1 won against the Saturn and N64 system that time. and everytime I go to a console shop. I enjoy seeing displays of PS1 accessories that time. Multitap, Link chord, VCD adaptor, Gamesharks, oh it brings back memories.

Ive grown out of the gaming phaze, therefor I have no choice but to surrender to my nostalgia and say that my favorite console is the SNES.. Oh yes.. the super nitendo.. I can recall playing countless hours of Donkey Kong, Killer Instinct, and Mortal Kombat... also games like NHL and Super Mario games.... I loooved my SNES

I remember my SNES... Of course, that was my favorite gaming console years ago. Now, my favorite gaming console is my PS3. I do not really have any specific reason why it is my favorite.

Hard call. My favorite games, Dragon Warrior 1-4 are on NES only. But there were also some great SNES games. EVO, FFIV, and such. I would say it's a toss up between those two systems.
