I recently purchased a somewhat new product from Nivea called Goodbye Cellulite. I got a fantastic deal on it, buting the combination pack of both gel and patches for $7 on clearance, when the individual products sell in the same store for about $12 each. I have been useing the gel for 2 days now and tonight I am trying the patches, which are supposed to be more intense treatment than the gel, but it says on the package to use in combination with the gel for best results. So far I have had to negative reactions to this product, but it is too soon to tell if it is actually working yet, as the package promises visible results after 2 weeks and full results after 4 weeks. However, as I said I am trying the patches tonight and they are really getting on my nerves, they don't stick very well and want to let go whenever I move. Given this I am very glad that I got a deal, because I would not pay $12 for 6 more of these patches, considering that I will probably have to search my bed for them in the mornign when I wake up to discover that they've peeled off of my butt.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else have tried this product and what kind of results you've had? Is there some trick to getting the pads to stick to your butt? I would think they were intended for other body parts but they show a picture of a butt with a patch on it on the box. Has anyone had any negative reactions to this product? And do you think it's worth $12 a tube?

I read somewhere a while back that researchers don't know what causes cellulite so once they figure out what causes it then I'll agree with the treatment. Till then, I'll keep my fat! LMBO

Now it's my turn to say, Really? Just rub it down and the body will absorb it? I'm going to have to try that. I have a ton of it but I also know it's part of life too.

This product uses L-carnitine, which is a vitamin thats supposed to help your body reabsorb the fat. They say it really works. I still haven't been useing it long enough to be sure, but I will keep useing it until it's all gone and then I will report back on whether or not is really worked for me.

You got a good deal alright! especially if it works. I would be willing to pay the $7 on a gamble if it worked - and if it did not work at least I had some moisturizing effect I would think -- but no, I would not pay $12 a tube without assurance of its effectiveness. no one sees my skin anyway, lol.

I have this problem too, and grrr, I dont know if I have tried my all best but I really wanted to get rid of this too. I have the same product, it's just gel though. I don't know if it works alright, or just being impatient. But I noticed that my cellu*** on my buttchecks is fading a little, looking better. I think it's worth the $12, for someone who really needs to get rid of it, oh yeah! lol
Let me know if patches works better.

Hahah that's funny how you blank out part of "cellulite" like a bad word. I use it on my butt too. I think it;s starting to help. It says on the tube it takes a month. DO NOT buy the patches, they suck. They don't stay stuck on, they want to peel off whenever you move. Plus you only get 6 of them in a box, so that's only 6 applications for $12. And it says on the box to "use in combination with" the gel but the gel package does not mention the patches, so the gel is definitly the thing to get.
