Do you really think the filipino people should impeach GMA out from presidency? If ever she got ousted, who among of those senators and cabinet members will fit to the position and be a much much better leader of our nation???
note: except for VP bcoz i personally think he's not good enough

If our president will be impeached, the Vice President will surely assume the position as stated in our Constitution. Though many have good hopes for our Vice President. I don't see much hope and pride on him. He lacks certain qualifications to rule the country. And my instincts says that he can't be a good one.

I'm also tired of hearing the words impeachment and people power. I've been hearing it 7-8 years. When will this ever end? Do you think after GMA will be impeached, the people won't think of anyone else to impeach? I think Filipinos are addicted to impeachment. Just because they've done it a few times it means they should do it all the time. It is our fault anyway why we get these officials. Aren't we the one who put them in their positions? And now we're trying to take the best way out just because we've made that mistake.

Well when it comes to impeachment it could be possible for as long as those sneaky GMA supporters be the first to file an impeachment that is made to fail because of lack of merit thingy. This has been the tactic of GMA admin sending out someone to file an impeachment complain that has no merit so that they could squash it soon and give her another year before another impeachment complaint is submitted to congress. Nice tactic by the way.
As to who can better lead this country.... Well I have some in my mind but I doubt that he could really handle this as politics in here can just be as nasty as it is. One day your a hero to the nation the next day you can be a very evil person. The next in line would definitely be the VP so unless you don't want him to sit there then might as well impeach the VP so that the next in line would be the Senate President and so on and so forth.

Yeah I guess everybody does have but then we could not just select or nominate that person to seat there just because we want to. It must go under an electoral process or else he might just be swallowed alive in there by our other veteran politicians who are used to that kind of tactics. Just as I said one day your a national hero the next day you are as bad as the common crooks.

Before people start impeaching somebody, they should first think about what will happen after the impeachment. You need to have a strong alternative to the government that you want to impeach otherwise you will be going in circles and not really get the results that you want out of the impeachment.

I absolutely think GMA must be out of the presidency, whether it is impeachment, people power,or military takeover, this takeover must be backup by the people.Remember that she became a president through a fake people power. In the 2004 election, she became a president for the second time through cheating.Let her taste a doze of her own medicine, and her supporters, remember them and junk them in any future election or major political activities. If you will not junk them and condemn them, our political history will keep repeating itself back to a disease called corruption.

hah.. with all the messes around her, she must blame it to her beloved FG, after all its his fault. didn't it happened before? a couple of times i guess, but every time he's in troubled, he just bail out.. out of the country for so so many alibis and leave all the messes to GMA and if everythings' going smooth again he shows up and cooks for another 'something'. its just my observation and i think im right..

Yes,i agree she's too smart and clever too. However it will happen if the opposition and the ruling party will unite to overthrow her.If they can unite, there is a strong possibility that she will be thrown out of power. Then let the people decide as to who will replace her.I don't thrust any of the political figures, whether it be from the opposition or the ruling party.I just hope someone will emerge as a new hero.

The country is undergoing the same status quo over and over again. I think everybody is sick and tired of these same old stories.
Yeah! I almost forgot... Life's like a wheel nga pala noh?! So as the history, so as the Philippines and so as the Filipinos. These all boils down to the Filipinos. What must Filipinos learn from these experiences since Spanish time until now? Kaya nga pinapaulit-ulit na lang sa history subject from grade school hanggang college yung mga pangyayari mula Pre-Spanish era hanggang sa Edsa 2 para matutunan natin ang mga mali ng past.
Bottomline, i think impeachment is not the best option at this time. Neither do i know what's the best thing to do.
Maybe just be a good citizen of this country...
