doctors visit

I have to visit the doc today just to get my medicine refilled. There's nothing they can do for me but that so I go in once a month. You would think I could get a break and they would give me refills and only go in a couple of times a year!! Wishful thinking!!! I've been to the doc so much in the last 5 years I really don't want to go but the alternetive is worse.

How come when the doctor writes a prescription he/she can not give you 2 refills so you have a three month supply? Going every moth is a lot.
