What's the Deal

glad I am not going insane lol! i was thinking that i was going a bit loopy as a little while ago my earnings said $9.43, and for about 30 minutes it has been $9.44. not sure how mylot do the who how much you earn for what thing, i just kind of accept the money i get when the earnings are updated, but this is a first for me where they have changed it nowhere near the normal update time.

Good morning. I have never seen that happen. I usually am not home in the morning unless it's my day off so I don't get a chance to watch what it does. Let me know if you figure it out!

It happens at times here.Last month I have seen the cents changing thrice in five minutes and i posted in a hurry that you are earning for each and every post.But not so.I don't understand the way of mylot.Well but I am seeing an improvement nowadays.

I don't know what's going on either. Mine went from 49 cents to 47, then up to 50 and it stayed until my 24 hour update when it went to 74. Usually it goes up or down one penny, but his morning has been really weird. Maybe someone's discussion was deleted, but then wouldn't it have been reinstated? Or maybe they over gave to a comment I made, adjusted for that, and then realized they under gave for another one. I don't know. But I was 2 cents too much and then 3 cents not enough. Someone must be reviewing things this morning. Getting close to the end of the month and they have to decide who to pay and who not to pay. Usually at least once a month, I see this, and often toward the end of the month. Take care

Hello Carolbee, I have also notice that, my earnings once fluctuate by two cents maybe because there is post of mine which is deleted, after that I get increase in earnings sometimes twice in a week, and that happen even if it is not yet time for updates, but not that much, only 1 or 2 cents. I think they are monitoring our discussions more closely than before, and they increase it if they found we are getting less than what we are supposed to receive so they increase it, or maybe it has something to do with our rankings.

ohh you posted this question a little earlier than me. i just posted a similar discussion since this happened to me for the first time and i wasn't too sure too. it could be as you said. recently i noticed my posts have been deleted but that was a few days ago and not just today. well i'll see what other mylotters will say to my topic if they do respond. thanks so much.

I guess sometimes our answers are not good enough and when someone's discussions gets deleted, you loose what you response of earning. I don't think this is fair but if this is how things are going to be, choose your discussions wisely.

Strange, Carolbee. But I will watch for that now. But it wouldn't be fair if our earnings went down after a discussion was deleted. We still had input and that's what we got paid for, right? Oh well, I'll keep my eyes open.

Mine did almost the exact same thing. I didn't catch it being at the original number, but it went up and then down to below where it had been before. Bleh. I assumed something had been deleted, but it's frustrating that the numbers just change randomly like that. It's more often than not in my favor, but this time it wasn't.

You can never think or know why that happend becasue somethimes things happen strangly here in mylot but i think if that is something which should not happen to you then you must send email to mylot regarding this matter and see what they have to say for you.

Really? You know I lose my confidence to continue with this mylot since It is really hard for me to generate an income. I have little spare time and I couldn't spend it here. Now im trying to look for some business where I could earn bigger than one cents

Sorry I realy dont know. I dont even know how we earn the cents. Just yesterday I earned 3 cents after posting, discussing with others. I really dont know how. Maybe you can ask crash, the new mylotter member.

Me too, I wondered what was happening. All I can think of is that when it gets close to updating it readjusts the amounts before posting them.

I only noticed my earning is updated once a day. Does it change often? I will check it tomorrow. Although I am here for half a month, I still don't know how the earning is caculated.
