My baby is 16 months and interesting in potty training. So Im training him. He lets me knows when hes wet or stinky by going to go get a diaper or sitting on his potty. When I have to change his diaper I change it every 2 hours when he pees cause he doesnt pee alot, or when he poops I change it right away. I put A & D diaper cream on him EVERYTIME I change his diaper. He has only had a rash once. How often do you change your baby or how did you potty train your toddler?

I'm a mom of a 6 month old baby and a 21/2 year old toddler. In a day, I'd change their diapers at least 4 times. My toddler has been trained to poop in the toilet and tells me when she needs to go. My baby on the other poops in a potty as well most of the time when I sit her after having given her her milk. I potty trained my toddler by using a reward system. Everytime she'd use the toilet or tell mommy she had to use the toilet, she'd get a sticker for each. I think it actually motivates a child to tell you and do her thing. I only wish that there would be more stickers under the "made weewee" space. We're still working on that and pretty soon she'll be out of her diapers... I hope. :)
