On my birthday i went out and bought the Xbox 360 Elite. Couldn't have been happier, but when i got back from holiday, my friend couldn't stop talking about his new nintendo wii. So which one is better? Xbox 360 if you want shooting games with superb graphics and little effort, or Nintendo Wii if your very active and love your sports. But thats the problem, i love both. I chose the 360 due to the graphics but after seeing the gameplay on the Wii i now have no real reason for buying the Xbox other than i wanted xbox live which i still after 4 months haven't sorted out. What do you think about the nintendo wii?

It's something new and a lot of people like it!!
I do it too.
xbox360 is more for the hardcore-gamers and the Wii is more for family's.
So do you play very much on it or just sometimes??
Do you care for good graphics or not?
Do want something new or do you want to stay with the old ones?
Check these questions and then you know it!! (at least i think so :P)

This is the same as asking the question which is better Coke or Pepsi? Or which do you like better, McDonald's or Burger King? It will always come down to personal preference and situation. The Wii definately offers a unique gaming experience. Nintendo focused on innovative gaming techniques and technology rather than pure power and graphics. The Wii has a smaller selection of games than the other consoles, but you can use gamecube games on the Wii console or download legacy games to the Wii. It also might be harder for you to find a Wii to buy depending on your area. The Wii is the cheaper console, so that might be a factor for some or a consideration if a second console is desired.

It really depends on how you are satisfied with the games you play in either consoles. It doesn't matter on what console the game runs in. It doesn't matter how much realistic the graphics catches your attention. Though it does really gets a plus on some gamers, what matters is the satisfaction that the gamer gets from playing the game. Wii is more innovative in terms of gaming, it doesn't limit gamers with finger movement but also gets you to move your arms and even you body.
Well, that's just what I think..

I own a Wii, and tell you what- for the first week I've been enjoying the console. Right now, it's sitting on my cabinet gathering dust. There are just not enough games to make me enjoy it again, almost all of Wii's game are either party games or crappy games. I am hoping in the near future that might change!
Right now, I am eyeing towards SSMB and I really hope that it would change my views about the Wii when I get to play that game.
