Someone please have a suggestion I haven't heard. My almost 5 month old has started teething. He has been a GREAT sleeper since he was 7 weeks old now that he's teething he is waking up every hour or so with this high pitched little cry shoving his hands in his mouth. He has been grumpy and crabby and so not himself. My first son never had this problem with teething. We've tried teething rings and his pacifier. They do not work. We tried a little Tylenol last night before bed, 2 hours later he was crying. Today I am going to try washcloths from the freezer. I tried Oragel with my first son, that stuff does not work. And I have no liq uor in the house so that is not an option. But if you have ANY suggestions or stories that might help me please SHARE!!

i've been giving my daughter a baby bottle with cold water in it to play with...sometimes she chews on it, sometimes she will drink it but it seems to be doing the trick with her! tylenol helps too...when your baby is 6 months i think you can give them motrin which might help more.
