dream vacation... will it be just a dream?

We all need a vacation. With all the pressures at work, home, relationship and whatnot... a little vacation will give us the time to realign our priorities and recharge. I dream of a private island... with only me and my husband in a white beach spending time in the sun. But with lots of bills to pay and with less money to spend. I think my dream vacation will only be... a dream

I have a dream vacation, i want to take a flight to USA then buy a car and drive around the entire country. Being bored one day i started to check how much it would cost and stuff, it came to a preliminary cost of around 120.000kr or 19.000$. I would have visited most of USA's largest cities, been away around a month, and traveled around 12.000 kilometers. I really want to do such a trip, but first i need to work some time before i can save up that amount of cash, if i ever decide to make the trip reality.

Wow, I wish I could do that too. But believe me, you need more that 1 month to be able to visit all the nice places here and more money too, everything is so expensive here. The only place I been to is my neighboring state, New Hampshire and I have been here for 8 months already. We can't even go further north, because the gas is so expensive. It's nice to dream huh. Thanks.

I love travelling and lately i've been fulfilling my dream of going to different beaches. I really enjoy going to the beach!. Recently I went to Boracay and it was superb! Last year I went to Panglao Island Bohol - another great white sand beach. Unfortunately I have to stop saving for travel since i started going to grad school...Maybe next year i'll target another good beach.

Wow, would you believe I have not been either to Boracay or Panglao Island. I should have listened to my brother. He traveled to local destinations first, then international. Thanks.

I think that you dream of staying on a private island with your husband sounds perfect. I think that you are more likely to stay on an island with just a few other guests. I went to Samoa and had five days on a tiny island with just the staff there for the first two days I was there. Then some other travelers arrived. It had a white sandy beach with thatched traditional building set slightly back from it. The interior of the island was quite wild with a narrow track leading to the top. Going up there I could see glimpses through the trees to the reef. Wow! I hope that you achieve your dream one day.

Yes, I hope so too. Your experience in Samoa is indeed inviting. I wish we would have the resources to make my dream come true. Thanks.

my dream vacation is a simple 5 days stay at a famous beach resort, like in boracay, bali, or phucket. i love staying out in the sun even if it would darken my skin. i love the beach at the early mornings and i think its pretty romantic having dinner at a beach front. im saving for this dream vacation but it really hard. maybe i'd make this dream come true one day. just try hard to save up and i don't really rush. when that time comes, im sure gonna enjoy it to the fullest.

I love the beach early morning too. And I wish I could go to Boracay. Imagine I have not been there and I lived in the Philippines all my life. Maybe when I go back, I might go visit it. thanks.

Yes, I believe so too. Reality comes from a dream. And I am hopeful that my dream will not stay as a dream. It will come true. Thanks.
