Last night the kids and I had burgers for dinner. My children chose to eat theirs with no bread but I wanted roll for mine. I sent my son to the store to get one but they had no more. I decided to improvise so here is what I did: I decided to use waffles. I know, I can hear you know saying oh how disgusting. But you know what, it was good, at least to my taste buds. I didn't use any ketchup just the syrup for the waffles and I made a sandwich out of it and it really surprised me. I don't know if any of you guys would want to try it but for you daring lotters out there give it a try, it won't hurt.

This does sound gross, however my husband does some weird things too....like his chili dogs...he eats them on toast not hot dog buns. He even got my 7 year old daughter to try it..

Well if he chan eat chili dogs on toast, surely he can try the burger on waffles w/syrup. You know it's amazing sometimes how different tastes coming together end up being good.

Yikes,I don't think I am that daring. Maybe just the waffles as a bun and no syrup would be okay. I really don't like my meat being sweet. If we are out of buns for burgers I just use bread.

I do not think that it is weird. I put eggs and cheese and bacon on my pancakes and waffles and dip in syrup.

It doesn't sound too strange to me, one time I was out of bread, and all there was, were some pancakes, so I made a sandwich using two pancakes, and it never even phased me at all!

Peoples taste's are just like our a**, both are split. To me that didnt really sound like something id enjoy, but as long as you enjoy it and you dont force it down my throat i have no problems with that.
