Good Friend are hard to find

Ihave a very dear friend who is seven years younger than I am but we share so many common interests and care very much for each other.i am going thru a bad time with my retirement so to get me out of the house and out of my depression she takes me out to Burger King every other week where we eat and talk and eat and talk and bring each other up to date on all thats been happening to each other. we are both diabetics, both women, both born in November and our sons are best friends and self announced computer nerds.She is always therre for me even to nagging me about going to my doctors for my own good and I will always be there for her. also my adult son is one of my best friends, he does all sorts of things for me that I cannot always do for myself. at 81 I still hate to have to have help but comes times when I just really need it.and he nevercomplains even offers to pick up my prescriptions for me. I am truly blessed.

well i have good friends , i really dont have awful friends, i wouldnt call them friends period ,my good friends have gone their ways into the world most of them are either getting married or working or slaved in books in college ...

Yes I have a few very close friends, that I like to see and be around on a regular basis. They are friends that listen when I have a problem, ones I can trust, like to do the same things hubby and I like to do and enjoy being with us as much as we enjoy being with them. I find we have different friends for different activities though. For instance we have our catd playing friends, our roller skating friends. our 'dinner and a movie' friends and just some plain 'party friends' I do not keep friends around that I do not thoroughly enjoy being with. Most are married. But I do have some girl friends just to go shopping or out for lunch with though, and hubby has individual interest friends too I have childhood friends too. That if we don't see other for 10 years, the next time we do, it was like we saw them yesterday. Yep it's good to have friends, not to be confused with acquaintences which are nice people to see, once in awhile!

I have some friends at are really worth calling close friends, because they dont run away when things get tough. Dont have any really bad friends(like the example you wrote), because if they act like that i dont consider them a friend anymore.

I have friends I left in my country. Few of them were my close friends. One of them was my close friend since high school. I don't have close friend here. I have few good friends but not very close to me. I had before for five years of friendship. Due to big differences, we became strangers. I'm thankful for that. I've learned something.

I personaly dont have that many friends, but this is because I have always found that I was stabbed in the back by them, I have a family now and that is the most important thing in my life and alot of what would call themselfs friends didnt understand this. I have one really good friend that I may not see for months but we never miss a special occasion and understand that we both lead totaly different lifes, if I could find more people like her then may be my trust and faith in friends would re build and I would have a different story to tell.
