Since I became an adult ..18 I have moved 8 times to date

ugh i hate moving, im only 17 and i've moved around all over california. its horrbale, 11 times! plus i'll be moving again in acouple of months. im so tired of moving! i just want to stay in the same spot of at least a year.

That's a pretty interesting quwstion and I didn't realize how much I moved until I saw your discussion and then thought back over the years since I was 18. I know I have moved for sure 11 times but there might be 1 or 2 times more. I had to do a lot of moving when I was in the military and right after I got out. I've actually lived 10 years in the house we're in now, I think that's definately a record for me,LOL!~D

I couldn't begin to tell you how many times I have moved. My father was in the military and when I was growing up on the average we moved every 15 months. After I had grown up, I continued to move alot, because that is what I was used to and when things weren't going well, I just packed up and moved somewhere else. As I have gotten older though, I would like to find somewhere I really like and stick to it. Hopefully in California or Oregon to be closer to my daughter.

Oh lordy lordy... is this a good discussion for me! I'm going to have to stop typing for a minute to count how many times I've moved "so far" in my life... brb... ... ... ok, here I go... I have up'd & moved 13 times & I'm only 38! That's like averages out to once every 3 years! And, that doesn't count going away to college. My family & I WILL be MOVING again this summer too! We came to the San Francisco bay area 1 & 1/2 yrs ago for my husband to attend dental school & he will be graduating mid-June... so, off we go again back east to hopefully settle in the northern Virginia / Washington D.C. area. Wish us luck!

Interesting. We moved quite a lot, actually, around 15 times to date and I'm 25.

I have moved 9 times. Three of those times was in a 2 block radius though. I am not sure if I should count those. I moved out of a building my landlord was selling into one he just bought a block away. Then I moved into a different apartment of his half a block away because it was a lot bigger. My sister-in-law is trying to convince me to move back up by them. I am considering it, but I am not sure about switching my son's school again.

Depends on how you count moving. I moved from home to college. I moved from college to the big city. I moved from the big city back to college. I moved from college to a house off campus for the summer. I moved back into college. I moved to North Carolina. I moved to the midewest to my sister's house. I moved from my sister's house to Steve's apartment. I moved to a house nearer to the airport with Steve and his Girlfriend. I moved from the airport house in with Steve's ex-girlfriend. I moved in with my Girlfriend's friend. I moved into my current house with my wife. Depending on how you count, moves, that's a few.
