Race to obstacles for the customers of Windows Vista. An update of this operating system is causing prioblems to who installs it, freezing the computer that does not understand is brought up to date, as well as to induce uncle Bill (or better, uncle Steve Ballmer) to withdraw the updatee temporary, like described in the Microsoft's blog. Draft of an important update, because more important than Windows Vista is a prerequirement for being able to install an ulterior update still, called Service Pack 1 or SP1. But also the Service Pack in its turns has of the complications. As the Inquirer and CRN tell, it has serious problems with several products of Trend Micro, Zone Labs, BitDefender and Novell. "Serious" in the sense that does not leave just. These producers have predisposed fixes and updates. The details supplied from Microsoft are (eye to the Italian version here, that it is the product of enough eccentric automatic translation) and specify that the block of Trend Micro Internet Security 2008, Zone Alarm Security Suite 7.1 and other products has happened with the consent of respect producers to you. The SP1 has been released on 4 February to partner OEM and it makes a subscriber to you to MSDN of it had received the availability for the 15 unloading February; the availability to the public would be due to release to half March, but the SP1 already circulates informally, for which it is the case to inform also the generic customers, that they could be tries you to unload it and to instal it in the hope to resolve some of the problems of Vista. Updates and corrections are in every operating system, for charity, but it is difficult to justify the common customer that in order to work with the computer it must make operations worthy of a participation of surgery to open hearth!
