Nuisance Sore Eyes

Are they red? It might be pink eye if so that is contagias. I had that years ago in both eyes for about 2 weeks. It finally went away after I went to a eye doctor and got something to treat it. The best thing to do is wife your eyes with cotton balls and each time you wipe them through the cotton balls away. Don't let no one else use them. I hope if this is what it it you get to feeling better soon.

hi cdparazo! ^__^ i hope your sore eyes are gone by now. its really odd that you have it for that long. but i guess cases like that happen. i haven't had sore eyes that stayed for more than 4 to 5 days. and over the last few years, i manage to make it go away after two days. i've never tried hot compress so i don't know if its effective or not. i usually "wash" my eyes with cold water when it starts to itch and get red. and then i would rest it a lot, refrain from tv and computer and just close it for long hours even if i'm not sleeping. and then i would use visine, its really effective for me. i think instead of using a hot compress, you should try a cold compress. sometimes, sore eyes are the result of heat that can't get out of our body. ^__^ get well soon!
