Wow. I'm shocked, but then again, I've come to realize that not everyone that teaches is qualified, nor do they really enjoy working with children. Some people are just in it for the good benefits. The money, the vacation time and the job security. So they could care less about children's well being. I obviously would be taking this to the media and anyone else that I could to make sure this 'teacher' never taught again.

The teacher's lawyer seems to claim she was on some meds that altered her behavior. I don't think that's very much of an excuse, the kids have still been treated poorly and that won't go away.
Personally, I am disinclined to believe the meds had anything significant to do with this behavior. Without clear and compelling evidence, I would have to assume the teacher was like this often and is just looking for an excuse for her behavior.

The thought that a teacher would treat children like that is just horrible. Teachers are so poorly paid and treated by society those hard working great teachers are leaving the field and we are left with the bottom of the barrel. Not to say there are not still great teachers out there but teachers are so overwehlmed that I could see even a good tacher completely losing her temper and lashing out. Not to say that it ok.

I saw this news video! It was appalling to hear all of the horrible things that this woman was shouting at a bunch of four year olds! "You all are mean to me, so I get to be mean to you!"
Seriously? This woman needs to quit teaching (well, really be fired), and go hang out with some cats or something. It was appalling.
