Question about adobe flash player

I have the firefox internet browser that I use all of the time...and everytime I go on basically any website they always pop up a box on my browser saying..something about install missing plug ins and I have clciked on it before and it says that I need to install adobe flash player...and I have it installed on my internet explorer..so what is the problem??and how do i fix it ??

i have the exact same problem and i've tried everything suggested here but it hasn't solved the problem.....anymore ideas

if the problem still not solve then i suggest to reinstall or install firefox 2.0.0.12. then install the required plugins like flashplayer, shockwave & java.
but before installing them i suggest to uninstall firefox first, delete the Mozilla Firefox folder and also unistall the old flashplayer, shockwave, and java.
