Do you always try to have desserts on the table after lunch or dinner? Is your meal incomplete without a dessert? I usually serves dessert after lunch or dinner on the table, fruits like ripe mangoes, banana and some tropical fruits here in my country. Sometimes when I run out of fruits I serves chocolate bars that I do just to complete the meal... How about you guys do you love to eat desserts after your meal?

I can have one if ever I feel like I want to, but most of the times I just leave them all to my niece!LoL I go for fruits as my dessert, mostly banana and ripe mangoes like you!;) I'm not much into sweets like candies and/or chocolates, but I can also go without any of these desserts.

I don't normally serve a desert right after a meal but most of my life I was raised with my Mom putting my father on a diet so she didn't have deserts in the house. We, Mom and I both, serve deserts right after the meal when it's a big holiday meal but otherwise it is something that is a 'snack' after dinner is settled and cleaned up.

I am very found of desserts...I can enjoy it after lunch and dinner as well. But I go for my home-cooked lunch in my office, so on working days...it becomes difficult to enjoy deserts during lunch time. However, whenever possible, I do take desserts after dinner...may be fruit cream, some fruits, or say ice-cream or a piece of sweet. How are you? Deepak :):)

Normally on saturdays, we have heavy dinner and there is always an invitee or two. Therefore, I help my wife in preparing fruit salad with ice cream. She prepares some other disserts on saturdays, if fruit salad is conspicuous by absence. We have vegetarians and hence we make quite a lot of disserts which are of great help in digestion of food. Most of it are sweet in taste.

We love fruit salad also but I seldom prepare it because the cost of the ingredients are very expensive and aside from that it is very high in calories because of the cream and milk. Thanks have a nice day...

Wow wow, what a "good life" you are having there! :P Over here in Singapore, it is not too common for us to have desserts after our main meals. We normally just eat that main meal and that's that. We might have a drink (that may possibly be coffee/tea or just soft drink, etc) and that's that - unless you count this as dessert. It is only when we visit restaurants for meals that we *might* order desserts. It all depends really. And I would say that chances are higher that we order starters/appetizers than desserts.:)

Yeah drinks can count also here as a dessert cause it is something sweet, but us in restaurant we occasionally order dessert cause sometimes it is more expensive than the main meal. Sometimes it is better to buy one gallon of ice cream in the grocery store rather to order a one scoop in the restaurant. Thanks have a nice day...

Hello, Yes, I do like to have a dessert after I eat, sometimes several. I like to have fruit for a snack, pie, cake, pudding, cookies, all make a meal end well. This way we have energy to do what we need to do. Even people on diets can have fruit and it is a great dessert. (Fruit) It doesn't require much to eat it. I enjoy making desserts as many people do. Have a great day!!!!
