Selling Digital Pics

I've seen those things sold on Ebay. But since buyers can't see what they're getting, you probably won't make much there. If you have 100 or more photos, you can make some nice extra change (more than MyLot generally) on BigStockPhoto. That's where I have my photos up. One of my favorite places to share photography and browse other people's pictures is DeviantArt.com They have an option on there to upgrade your account to a print account where you can set your own prices. They print your pictures and ship them out for you so there's no hassle involved. If you are looking for pure profit and would like to print your own pictures and send them out I would do so on Etsy.com where you can create your own store and sell whatever you want. I'm not sure about selling them to websites other than for stock images, but personally I don't feel like it would be worth it. I haven't heard of any thus far that pay what you deserve for your photography.

That sounds great. I might do the same thing. i am taking a online school myself for picture taking. I am almost finished a few more books and I will be. That soumds like a wonderful idea selling your pictures online. I wish I knew of some of these sites myself. I should proberly get photo magazines.

There's a great book out there called Photographer's Market. It's available in most bookstores, or you can order it online. It gives great advice on where and how to sell your photos. It has details on how to submit your photos to magazines and stock agencies, how to sell your photos at art fairs and gallerys, as well as information on contests you can enter. It also has information on photography schools and workshops. They have a new, up to date version released each year. If you're serious about making money with your photos, you need to get this book!
