Where I get ideas

Well I can't count the number of times I've seen posts from people on the AC forums about trouble finding topics to write on. I for one use helium to find article ideas. I look in catagories I like and then look at titles that interest me.
If I think I can write a better article I go ahead and write it for helium. I then submit it to AC for non-exclusive payment. It works like a charm!
How do you come up with topics?

I've done that, too, but haven't written for Helium in a long time. The daily news sometimes gives me ideas, as well as just browsing AC. Sometimes I'll see an article that mentions an idea, but doesn't develop it, or I'll disagree with something that's written and that makes a good article - not written to oppose the original, but to help develop my own thoughts.
