Um I see a lot of women talking about them getting there tubes tied and I'm asking a very naive question here-Is there a way to get your tubes like...untied? lol I'm curios and I really don't know all the steps to having your tubes tied in the first place-I mean is it truly forever? no turning back? give me the 4-1-1

You can get it undone, but the success rate for pregnancies afterwards isn't that great. Honestly, I wouldn't get them tied in the first place. If you need a more permanent form of birth control, look into an IUD or the implant, or something else. Because surgically can be hard to undo.

Well I am no expert and it is not something I have ever looked into or considered but as far as I understand it is pretty irreversible.
I know also that in Australia they do not like to do it on women under the age of 30.
If there is a chance of it being undone I think it is highly unlikely it will work.
Hope this helps and welcome to myLot

It depends on how your tubes were tied. With technology today, it seems all versions can be undone. I had the tied and then cut at the ends method which is the hardest to reverse but last I checked, doctors can work around this method too. Here is one doctors website with videos and everything. Hope this helps.
