Wedding Day Memories

Wedding day memories can be both joyful and dramatic.I have had three wedding days,all yielding both confusion and joy,and yes embrassment.What did your wedding day bring?

I didn't have a normal wedding. I got married in my inlaws home. But I don't think I would have been anymore happier if I married in a church...My husband to be was late. My maid of honor forgot her bra. At the last minute there was a switch of bestman. The top of the cake that your suppose to save for your one year was eaten..I like I said not a normal wedding...LOL...Its all funny now.

Good for you, Queenie,
A good family friend of mine also got married in their home (so it was mother and father-in-law to the bride). I was still in high school I think then, but growing up as a violinist, I performed all the music for their wedding.
And then many years later, which was just this summer, their youngest son just got married, and this was held at their house again (both sons married women from far overseas, who came home with them). This one over the summer (I played at also) was held outdoors which was really nice, and added to the wedding feeling with flowers all around and more space for audience. :o)
