Help! Need for Speed Carbon (The Game Crashes)

Hello everyone! :) i've donwloaded need for speed carbon from the net.. as i play the game, it crashes.. are there any tips inorder to prevent crashes? Thanks

Try to install the 1.4 patch, you can found it here: http://www.gamershell.com/download_19582.shtml
This patch fix crashes with windows vista when you launch the game.
Try it and give me an answer ;)
Don't forget to download the 1.4 fixed .exe ...

i tried everything but nothing happens :) anyways thanks 4 for the help. I appreciate your efforts in doing this.. thanks a lot!! hope i could enjoy playing need for speed someday.. I'm still counting on Tony_ you're a wizard! ;)

do you get some kind of error or simply you to the windows screen.
