hi there,
i would really want to do that too given the chance
but my school is a bit far from my house and the fare will cost me much of my allowance.. if i use the car i'll still spend double on my gas by going back and forth..
so what i do is i prepare food which i bring to school with me..

Yeah i do that for the majority but i prefer going home and having a nice hot cup of tea or some fresh toast and stuff! Thanks for the answer!

When I was still in elementary until high school, I really went home for lunch. That's daily. My mom really wanted me to be home for me to eat well and be served well of course. I really do understand that since our house is just near my school. It's just walking distance.

Hi there, you were so luck that you stay so near the school and could go home to take lunch in time. For my case during my school days I did not have such privilege as I stayed quite far away from school. If I felt bored with the food sold in the canteen I would bring my own food from home.

well when i was in school some time i take my lunch with me and if some time i donot take it with me then i eat when school finishs aat home.

When I was in first and second grade I used to come home from school for lunch. After that I moved to a school where that was not allowed, and I never did it again. I really enjoyed that time coming home and was a little sad to see it end.

I never went home for lunch when I was in school. A few of my friends and I would walk down to the restaurant 2 blocks from the school and grab something to eat. If we didn't do that we did stay at school and eat the A La Carte menu. They usually had some pretty good stuff in that line. Way better than the school food that is cooked.

In college, it was too far for me to drive from class to come home to eat and then go back to work, but I worked in a restaurant and it was only about five minutes from the campus, so I could just eat before I started my shift if I wanted to.
