Do you have an ebay "store"?

I've been using ebay for years. Occasionally buying items, and occasionally selling. Recently I've started to put more energy into offering items on ebay.I've been sorting out things I don't need anymore, working on some craft type items & I intend to offer my hypnosis CDs there soon. I have some major changes happening in my life this summer (moving, doing an apprenticeship for school, etc) and I need to augment my budget to afford to do those things. I'm wondering if investing in setting up an ebay store, as opposed to just listing items is a worthwhile investment? Does anyone here earn their primary income from ebay?
Are we allowed to plug our accounts on ebay here? I'll take the chance that we are- if you may be interested in the stuff I am offering, my user name there is Peamommy.

Hello!
I guess ebay is a good place to get rid of your stuff tha you don`t need anymore. But I `ve never tried an ebay story, I just sell sometimes this and that...
I`ve checked your items, if you`ll have some stuff for kids (girls) 4-5T let me know :)

Hello dear eden. I do not have any e-shop, but I am getting interested in it as I have often read about people talk about it, doing business online, which I think could be very interesting and adventurous to me. By the way, I hope that your business at e-bay will be booming as you wish. Good luck to you, my dear friend.

I used to have an eBay store and I did sell a few things from there, but, recently, I haven't been able to sell anything. I'm an artist and when the economy goes bad, people tend not to want to buy art because it's not a big necessity. So, I moved my store over to Etsy.com because it's cheaper.
If you are regularly selling, then I think a store would be good for you. If you sell only occasionally, then it might not be worth it because there are extra fees involved. One thing a store did that regular listings didn't was show other items on the bottom of my regular auction pages, thus driving traffic to my store.
If you have a store, you probably will still need to list regular auctions that will drive traffic to your store items.
I would say that you can give it a try for a few months and see what happens. You can always cancel it, later on.

I haven't sold anything, yet, but I'm also still building it up. I also do fiber art projects and plan to list those items as well.
I am getting a good amount of page views compared to the last month or two of my eBay store. I admit, I'm not getting a flood of interest, but it's still a lot better. And, I can keep the items in my store for four months and it's way cheaper.
Etsy is beginning to be a pretty big and well-known site that can probably give eBay a run for its money in the art and hand-made item categories.
Here is the link to my store:

I have an e-bay account and I have romance books for sale there at a cheap price. I really don't think you can make a good living off of e-bay you have to have something that someone needs all the time.I use posing4me2006 because I like to take pictures of people.

I have an ebay store. www.LisaAnnsCloset.com
I mainly sell stuff I don't want anymore. Clothes, CD's, Videos, etc. The monthly cost for having a store is about $15 (unless it went up and I haven't been paying attention) Then it's only 6 cents for each item to be listed for 30 days. It's not my main job. Just a little extra money, just like MyLot.
