In India many languages are spoken. Many people are capable of speaking more than two of the national languages and English. Especially the people living in the border areas of the states have that opportunity. Is it difficult to learn other language? What is your view?

Here in the Philippines I say around 97% of people do speak English which we consider as our 2nd language (though not all can speak fluently, most people can actually communicate). That being the case, since almost everyone speak English, it was easier for me to learn the language. Of course there's Filipino which is our mother tongue. Aside from that each province here has their own dialect. I speak both Filipino and English, I also speak Spanish since I took Spanish for my Area of Specialization which I really had a hard time learning. Of course I also speak the dialect in our province.

Hi, My mother tougue is Malayalam and I am from Indian State called Kerala, I do not think so as I had learned English, Hindi and Sanskrit from my school and also can speak Tamil and Marathi Hence I feel to learn other languages is not much difficult for me, if I get a chance to get a better class on that from a better teacher.
