Husbands says it's ok, but when I do it

My husband confuses me. He is a musician and plays alot were dancing is involved. I attend most of his shows. I often sit alone while he is performing. Now here is were the problem lies. I get asked to dance very often by men. My husband tells me that it is ok with him for me to dance with other men. I do not dance slow songs with any one and there is no touching involved. When I dance with someone my husband begins to act irritated and even coments negatively about who I was dancing with. So I get the feeling it is not "ok" to dance with someone. I do enjoy dancing but end up dancing by myself. Any suggestions?

How long have ya'll been married? It might not be due to the fact that he doesn't trust you or that he doesn't wish you to dance and have a good time while he is performing. It could just be that he sees the way the "men" are with you and some insecurities arises in him. It could also be that maybe he wishes he was the "man" dancing with you instead of the one you are dancing with.
In any relationship to keep it alive and growing, their has to be comminication. My suggestion would to sit down and talk with him about it. Have him tell you how he feels when he watches you dancing with another man. Communication is key!

We have been together for 7 years. When I talk with him about it he says it is still ok. I have not asked him about his feelings while I am dancing with someone. perhaps if he could express his feelings we could better come to an understanding about this. Thanks I will give it a try..

I think the idea of bringing a girl friend with too dance, would be a great solution, or why not dance up with the band. You up there dancing with him and the band could add some fun to their routine. Just a thought.
