I don't believe that being a good cook is gender related. There are good cooks in both genders. A person has to enjoy eating and cooking to be a good cook. It is also a matter of taste as to the food. If you don't like to cook you will not be a good one.

What a can of worms (beans) you have opened here! Cooking is definitely NOT gender defined!

I think there are great chefs of both sexes. I dont think one gender is better than any other.

I think cooking skills depend on the individual, regardless on gender.

i think men can cook better than women.most famous chef are male, although in most families there are female do cooking.women are more emotional while men are more rational,so when they do cooking, women will easy to add their emotion to dishes but men can control their feeling better.with the same dish, men can let its natural taste come out while women's added human 'taste'~~
it is all my opinion, maybe it is obscure...thanks

I really don't believe gender has anything to do with this issue, BUT if you do want to get technical about the matter I would have to say women simply because through history women have been the caregivers so women historically have more experience then men.
