I think the movie hasn't quite captured the imagination of the author of the book. Simply because I have always pictured Robert Langdon as a hunk, and here comes along Tom Hanks to portray him. Sigh. Well, I don't have anything against Tom Hanks. But, yeah he does show the 'intellectual' side of Langdon. But he just don't show the same appeal as the Robert Langdon character in the book.
Anyhow, it's ok. But the movie people should have tried more in looking for the actors and actresses to fit the part, as portrayed in the book.

i tried to read the book and never really could get into the book so I tried to watch the movie..because usually when i can't get into the book and there is a movie out i will watch it and it will start making more sense to me...but with this movie it really didn't make any sense at all to me..and that usually doesn't happen.

I actually liked it. it was quite nice. Tom Hanks did a great job. I didn't like how there was a lot of French being spoken in the movie. French gives me a headache with that annoying accent. no offense, of course. Overall it was quite good. The book is better in my opinion.
