Are there Work from Home jobs that are truly worthwhile, or are most scams?

I believe the ones you have to pay for are scams. They are scams teaching you how to scam. But the sites like myLot, and others that are similar really pay. They just take a while to add up. I have been paid at myLot and many other sites.

I am new at this myLot thing. How does it really pay...on referrals, posting comments, or new topics/discussions?
