Well, I have owned a proffessional keyboard in yrs. past, and I have noticed them to be a lot nicer. If you know how to play a reg. keyboard, piano or organ, there is not really too much difference. I am sure there are sites that can help you... but you might be able to find someone to give you lessons in person reasonably priced as well.

Generally, it has to do with the type and range of sounds that they need. For example, one might be set to be a synthesizer, another a piano, and other some other kind of sound. Or, they could be set from doing low sounds to high sounds, or louder or softer.
I don't know if there are any websites, though.
