What happened?

I had this really good friend who lived next me. She had two beautiful babies. Her oldest was 4 and youngest was baby when she moved. Her children are the same age as mine and they would play together and us moms would be hanging out having our adult time. She has recently moved because her babies daddy was in jail and she wanted out. That was like 6 months ago. Okay maybe alittle background...... She moved in 9/07 ...at that time I was 9 months pregnant and we both we were so happy....especially since she had just had a baby 6 months before that in March. We were really good friends. Like sisters. Now that she has moved I have only seen three times since she moved. And if she does come over, she comes to borrow a lighter or drop clothes off for my youngest. But the visits were only like 5 minutes and then leaving to go to another one of her friends that live in same apartment complex as me. Was I wrong to think that we had a like a sisterhood? Or did we but now she feels like she is better that me because she has job and real apartment (whereas I am homemaker..but have bf with job, and live in low income apartments..)? Someone please help....

I dunno nuluv, Some people are just like that. They use people while they can, and then when they are done with them they move on to the next unexpected victem. . its sad, but if i was her i would cherish your friendship because true friends and people that really do care about you dont come along very often now a day!! and when they do, its a really good idea to hold on to that and keep the friendship alive!
I know you are sad cause you feel as if you have lost your best friend, but just think that if she is being this way now, its better that you found out sooner rather then later that she is a user right ? before she used you for other things besides company. like 50 hours a week of free babysitting or something!!
I hope you come across another friend that will treat you better then this lady did. Dont worry, what comes around goes around, If she treats people this way, then she will be treated the same way one day and will then understand what she does is wrong. *hugs*
