i cant swim too so i don't go near water at all. i'm always afraid of deep waters.

i learned swimming in the past two years before that i knew nothing about abc of swimming but i live in a hotel so there's a river near by so went there every week there i learnt swimming first i started in the direction of the flow it's easy and very convenient for new learners after that i tried to against the flow try it may be you may learn it too!!!!

yes, though I am not very proficient at it - I can do it. in order to graduate highschool it was required that you be able to swim twice the length of the olympic sized pool.
I was able to do it, but I did not like doing it! I hated having to be in a swim suit and having to take this test in front of others. it really REALLY irked me!

Am a case of hydrophobia, so i fear water generally, especially any ammount of water aboe my waist

I would really like to learn how to swim but, I guess I really need someone who doesn't just go around with words when they try to teach you how to swim. I'm a tall person so even at local pools that could only go to six feet, I still can stand, at least tip toes, and not worry much. Maybe I need a deeper pool as well.

I can swim like a fish, but that is because my grandmother had a pool when I was a small girl, so they all (my family) taught us kids to swim so we wouldn't fall in and drown. LOL
My stepmom is like you though, she can't swim at all. She will not even put her feet in the water most of the time.
