I just saw this story about a sea turtle. She is missing three of her 4 flippers. She was found 2 years ago, and the people took her to this Sea world type lab where they rehab lots of different sea life. The turtle will be getting an artificial flipper. Without another, they don't think the turtle would survive back in the wild. How neat is that?!

I think that story is great. I love animals and stories like this just makes you feel so good that there are still people in the world that care enough about animals to try and help them out. I seen a video of the turtle, but it did not show the artificial flipper on it. I would love to see a picture of the turtle with the new flipper. It would show how people do still care in this world.

Now, I could have sworn I've answered this question... I thought it was wonderful that someone cares that much. A little silly, perhaps, to invest so much in the turtle, but it does show off the humanity of the caregiver. Heartwarming, I say.

I saw this story. Isn't it amazing? My favorite animal is a turtle. I wish that I could get a picture of this one. Just think...a *bionic* turtle. LOL
I wonder if they will actually put her back into the wild? This was a very heartwarming story.

This is one of those examples of how wonderful technology can be. What a great thing! Sea Turtles are so cool! The fact that this turtle will have a second chance at survival is pretty awesome.

I think that that is really cool....I mean something horrible obviously happened to the turtle to make her lose three of her four flippers and the people took their time to work with the turtle and try and rehab it back to a hundred percent so that it could survive in the wild where it came from and where it belongs...I Think that it is great that we still have a few people like that left in the world today that are willing to help...
