viewing mature content

I don't know if some people realise this but when your settings prevent your from viewing mature content, you can still view the post by clicking the comment button. I found this a while ago, when someone made a reply to my post that had an objectionable word (according to mylot's filter for mature content, obviously!) so I am only able to view the reply if I click the button to comment on it. I thought that was interesting and I am not sure why I didn't share the info before! lol

Thanks I totally missed that little box when i was looking for where to change it. Was glad for the tip about how to view the posts otherwise. (although a bit fustrating with dialup i could at least still read them!)

You're welcome! Glad to help. I really think the mature content filter needs some work though. It filters some words that really don't need to be categorised as "mature" unless they are taken out of context. But I suppose mylot just doesn't have a way to determine context with the filter. So, we have to "make do" as they say, with what we have. :)
