We were in walmart the other day. And we got lunch. I always get the Broccoli Salad. Well I was just reading a food and family magazine and guess what recipe I found?!!?!?!
Tangy Broccoli Salad!!!!
3/4 cup miracle whip
2 Tablespoons sugar
2 Tablespoons vinegar
1 bunch broccoli, cut into florets (6 cups)
6 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
1 small red onion, chopped
mix dressing, sugar and vinegar in bowl
Add remaining ingredients, mix refridgerate at least one hour.
Now I know the recipe at Walmart has rasins and sunflower seeds...
So now I am going to have to make this one too!!!!

I used to love this salad for picnics. When we had a get together, someone always brought this so I didn't need to make it often. The trick was to think of something else to make. The recipe I used is almost exactly what you have listed above. It's so much better than the store bought salad too. Know what other store salad I love is the seafood salads. So easy to make too.

This sounds really good, but my body doesn't tolerate mayonnaise or miracle whip very well. But, I can eat that Vidalia Onion dressing and I think that would go great with this recipe. Thanks for posting this!

A friend use to make a salad like this but she had shredded cheddar cheese in it. It was so good.
I tried Walmarts and I wasn't impressed with it. I will have to give this one a try.
Thanks for sharing.

Mmmm, this does sound good.
I usually get the broccoli salad at Golden Corral. There's just something special about the bacon in it (well, bacon is pretty special in most anything I guess).
I can do without the raisins, but yes, sunflower seeds would be good too.
