Have you ever thought up something and later you found out that someone else made money on the exact same thing. I thought about bottled water long before we had any. When I was younger and lived in Tucson on hot days. I would look at a circle K or 7 11 and think to myself "If only they sold water, I would buy it" Now I look back and think about how I should have patented bottle water. I would be rich today. Have you ever done anything like that?

No, I'm not very creative like that but wow sure wish you would have been in on that - multi-million dollar business now days. Of course if you had become a millionary you wouldn't have been spending time on myLot I'm sure and we never would have met....

LOL - now if you could just come up with something else and go for it this time just think how handy that extra money would be starting a new life, you just gotta take me along, hire me for some job or another :)

Oh yes, people are always copying my original ideas and they spin off so many things from my name and initials.
I am quite used to that really.
But this is the world.
Unless you have the resources to back up your ideas, continue dreaming.

I do that more with websites, I get these ideas and then I see they have been done by someone else, if only I had the business acumen and the professionalism in html to create it. I tried creating my own websites but they lacked the professional touch, I had the ideas for great sites, but I couldn't reproduce them, and i certainly couldn't afford to have someone else done them for me, so sadly I had to sit back and watch other people cash in on my ideas.

My Dad was the same. When he bought his property to retire the water situation wasn't good. He got a water diviner in to see if there was water on the property and he found an underground spring. He thought about bottling it but decided not to because it would mean being back in business and he was supposed to be retired. That was back in the mid to late seventies...imagine where he would be now?

Yes, it happens to me all the time. For instance, I thought about being able to carry our books digitally before amazon came out with their WIreless Reading Device. Because I thought, if we could put music on a compact device and take it on the go like the Ipod, then we can read anything wirelessly. I did not do anything like it, by I thought about reading on the go without actually having to take your real book.

And of course you would have shared all that wealth with your twin sister wouldn't you honey! lol I have had good ideas like that in the past but my brain is too mucked up to remember the examples right now and David is at work so I can't even ask him! Oh well Hugs anyway xxxx
