why am i unable to copy and paste information from my pc to mylot's discussion??

I can't either its mylot's rule sadly.

When you hit 500 posts, you will be able to copy/paste.

You wont be able to copy paste if your posts are lower than 500. The number of posts that you have is the number inside the parenthesis beside your name. Right now 75 is your total posts. Unfortunately, comments and started discussion is not considered as valid posts to add up to your number of posts. But I believe though it is not reflected in your total number of posts... you will still earn from them. So, if you want to copy paste you should do a lot of response.

You actually are not able to copy and paste until you have reached 500 posts. in the mean time you just have to type out anything that you want to say. I have not reached 500 yet either, but I am close. Good luck. And BTW welcome to mylot.

I can tell you why you can't copy and paste...see they give you privalages on mylot and one of them is to be able to copy and paste things and the only way that you can get that pricalage is to answer or ask at least five hundred discussions and once you hit that then you can copy and paste whatever you want...as long as you put where it came from...and you only have forty two so far so you have awhlei to go now...

You'll see your number go up after your name, so you'll know what is counting. Just keeping posting interesting discussions and give well thought out (not short!) responses and you'll reach 500 before you know it. I've only been here 12 days and look at my number!
