Feelings and emotion!

What is the difference between feelings and emotions.I have asked this because people have both feelings and emotions,and that is a weakness when we compare ourselves to animals.Animals may have feelings of loneliness,but they don't show it,or you can't see them weeping when one of them died.They don't laugh when they are happy,or they don't show tears of loneliness or happiness.God is a compassionate God,and tender to people who heed his teachings.If God is compassionate,then why did he allow people to suffer in this world.I'm not questioning the wisdom of God because i believe in his wisdom.All i'm asking to you people is to answer my question,is God without feelings or emotions.Is the nature of God just plain wisdom and intelligence,without emotions,which is the nature of man that makes us suffer?

One may consider feelings and emotions weaknesses while other may consider them strengths, depending on the time, the space, the circunstances emotions and feelings appeared.
Remember, God is all about love (which is a feeling or emotion), in fact name one thing that is commonly human, that God has not the most of it...the good values, I mean. We get to know God through ourselves, and guess what...through feelings, through the heart's voice....is it a weakness anymore?
Suffer is, indeed born in feelings we cannot supress, but the fact we suffer means that our soul empathizes with other one, or our soul is stroke by a powerfull event: in the first case it's a virtue, in the second it's vulnerability.
As a conclusion, we always need to think in dualities, because there will always be at least two alternatives - a good and a bad, a right or a wrong - it only depends which category has the biggest influence.
p.s. animals don't have feelings...they have something that we like to think as feelings - they have instincts.

Thank you for a very good answer,but i am not satisfied.I want to know if without emotions or feelings God has allowed the tragedies,the fatal accidents that befell good and God loving people.I want to know if this feeling or emotion is included in the wages of sin that all man inherited from Adam and Eve.You see if man have no feelings and emotions,lets say just a little bit of care,then it is easy for anyone to survive in the cruel environment of this place called earth.

Well, my intention was to create a two-perspective-view on feelings. You are only interested in the worthlessness , or more in the bad side of having feelings. When you put it like that, feeling definitely is a weakness, and sometimes augments the suffer after an event...but this is not in vain, though. By feeling a thing, regardless if it is good or bad, it sure that you will remeber it, it sure will add to the life experience.
