It depends on what script you have. You would first have to upload it to your server via ftp. Then, for most php scripts, you will have to point your browser to something like www.yoursite.com/install.php. You will then be prompted to enter some data and it will usually ask you to delete the install folder/file. If you contact whoever you got it from, they should be able to tell you what to do.
