Can computer improve your effeciency ?

Now I spend most of my spare time on line.When I was asked to write something,the first time I would do is to surf the Internet to find some relevant information.But again and again,I would be attracted by some other information coming out automatically.So I was likely to take more time to finish my tasks.What's your opinion?

We can't live without computers and Internet.On the other hand,it sometimes just wastes our time.
