As we know, stress is a part of daily life. Usually, I take a paid leave if I feel like I am being burned out. On a daily basis, I usually go to the gym, play games or blog to release my stress.
How about you guys? What are your ways of relieving stress?

We understand the stress is very bad for our health, so we must find way to tackle it. I usually go for a drive along the tranquil country side and relax myself. It is quite an effective way as the beautiful landscapes could always amaze me and make me to forget all the worries.

I find that a good long walk in the countryside filling my lungs with fresh air does me the world of good, it helps to clear my head and I can appreciate nature with the birds singing and the wildlife that I see in the woods. I can walk for miles and it really helps to banish the stress. I also find a nice hot bath and some soft music in the background with a glass of red does wonders too, just before bed so that I can have a nice peaceful, uninterrupted stress-free sleep.

I too just did an article on stress in my life. I noticed a link to your discussion so I thought I would check it out as well.
Stress is hard to deal with sometimes. I think our ability to handle stress depends on so many other factors in our life at the time. Such as health, diet and so forth.

I seldom have stress in my life, because I accept many things with open mind. When you see thing always on the positive side and lower down our requirement, things will be getting easy and thus stress will be reduced significantly. But most of my stress result from my working enviroment when I was bugged by my colleagues to expedite things. When I am having stress, I will a deep breath, cool down my temper. Or I will take a sip of coffee or a brief walk around my office area. If the stress still persist after work, I will go for exercise or playing my PS2 games.

The way I know to rid myself of stress is to leave the stressful situation (physically or mentally), read, blog, or even something as physical as lifting weights or going for a walk around the block. If all else fails I call on my friends to help: Bud or my ex-CO from the navy, Captain Morgan. :-)

I can't release my stress, nothing can divert my mind though i try to get rid of it. My stress can only be released untill or unless the cause of stress will not be resolved.
