What a beautiful day! The sun is shining, it's still a bit chilly and there is snow on the ground, but I always love the first of March. It tells me that spring is right around the corner. I even have some bulbs beginning to sprout up through the snow and hard cold ground! They say if March comes in like a lamb, it will go out like a lion........oh dear! I don't care, it is nice today and I am going to enjoy it all day long! What are you doing today?

Well, I don't have seasons like most of the board; however, we are having nice weather. Its sunny and warm most of the time. I'm not complaining, as love to view the flowers.
Today I worked on two ponds and that water is cold. I'm amazed that any typing is getting done. My hands are really stiff. I was going to pot water plants, but going to wait a little longer.

I have often wondered if I would enjoy living in a place where the seasons do not change. Last week when it was snowing and the roads were so slick, I think I could have lived with it :) However, looking out at my garden and seeing the green pop up after so many months of colder weather, it sort of brings a renewed sense of joy. On the other hand, having that joy every day of the year would be terrific as well! I would love to see flowers in bloom every day.

Well... it is the second day of autumn here...
And we completely missed on Summer.
We had six months of Spring.
It was the coolest and wettest summer in 20 years.
The cause of it was a cold current in the Pacific after part of Antartica melted.
Oh well! Now that Antartica is gone... we'll have a real hot summer next year to make up for it. I expect 60 degrees celcius. laugh

I'll have to look up my conversion chart to see what 60 degrees celcius equates to in ferinheit. Sometimes we miss spring and go straight to summer. I'm not sure, but I think this is a record breaking year for snow here. There is snow on the ground and some of my daffodils are beginning to pop through the ground already!

It's beautiful and sunny here today, too, actually 75 degrees right now. I'll take it while I can get it! I'm mostly enjoying it from indoors, though. I had some shopping to do earlier, I have some work to do now, and I have a little sewing that I must finish by tomorrow. I think I will take a short walk later, though. It's too nice to just stay in all day, plus we'll be having rain soon enough - and there's a 60% chance of snow on Monday night!

75! I am jealous! I thought we were doing well to be in the 40's with a sunny day! One of these days, I may just have to move south! Tomorrow is supposed to be like today, but a bit nicer I think, good for traffic at my open house, hopefully!
