Do you believe in Feng Shui?

What do you think of Feng Shui? Does it influence you and your life? Do you believe in the Ying and Yang?

the feng shui itself??? not really. but the philosophy behind it, thats what i believe. so i do but not. lol. yeah i believe in the ying and yang, good and bad. he chi and everything.

Thanks for the sharing puccaLOVESgaru. Nce nickname. I think I know what you meant. I am more or less like you too. In this world, there is a bad force and good force which the Chniese believe in Ying adn Yang. But feng shui is not really practical in all espect of live because there are so many other factors that influence our live and not even feng shui can correct them.

I believe in elements of it and I believe that the chinese bring a great deal of good fortune to them selves because they believe, I think that if you de clutter either your life or your mind then it must have benefits of some sort

Hi deedee30, I don't really know about the 4 elements but I have heard about them. How the 4 elements interrelated with human and affect the human life is something that is unexplained. Due to that I cannot say I beieve in those elements. Thanks for your sharing.

I can't say whether I believe in Fengshui. It is hard to believe something when it has not obviously worked for you. Imagine you have a Fengshui setup and even if it worked, how do you know whatever works is directly and solely due to Fengshui? But if I know something in particular is bad in Fengshui, I would rather trust it to be on the safe side.:)

Hi Lordwaewizard, to me when you believe in certain thing you tend to make the assumption that the thing works if you do see the result even if it is not becayse of the things you believe. Take for instance, religion, if you are a muslim you believe in holy war and 7 virgins are waiting for you in heaven. Can anybody proof that? Since I am a Christian, I don't believe in Feng Shui.

i am muslim. and muslim cant believe about feng shui. wat are muslim believe , all good and bad come from god. coz only god have power to all

I'm a Christian and I don't believe in it either. My neighbour happen to be a muslim and they engaged a Feng Shui master (geomancer) to balance up their home and furniture position. they told me it is not against the muslim practice since Feng Shui is meant to bring good Chi. Well, I kind of disagree with him for good or bad comes from God, as you said. Anyway, thanks for the comment.

I have never heard of Feng Shui, and looked it up... i don't know about something like that. Just sceptical I do believe in Yin and Yang though. Everything good has a price and everything bad can have soemthing good in it... even if that good doesn't effect you... it's a vicious circle.

I don't know much about Feng Shui either. All I know is it an ancient Chinese art and science developed over 3,000 years ago. It is a complex body of knowledge that reveal the ways to balance the energies of the environment. Ying and Yang are parts of Feng Shui. Thanks for your comment.
