What is the weirdest thing you would outsource?

We all have things that we hate doing, and some are less common than others. What is the weirdest thing that you hate doing enough, that if you had the money you would pay someone else to do it? Or what is the one thing you love enough that if you could find someone to pay to do it you would? For me, I think I would choose to pay someone to grocery shop for me and plan meals, with a couple of alternative choices should I just not be in the mood. I can't over spend if I'm just sending someone with a list. I can spend that grocery shopping time soaking in a nice hot tub instead of miserably trying to manoeuvre a shopping cart around a bunch of people in a busy store.

Clean my birds cage. I hate doing that. I would prabaly pay a stylist to go clothes shopping with me because I just cant buy clothes, I get frustrated and dont know what to buy.

Aww, I'll go shopping with you, I love buying clothes. I hope your into grocery shopping, I think we could have a nice trade off? You'll have to pay someone else to do the bird cage though, there's a reason I don't own any birds.

Ya know I thought I was going to be all original and say "clean up after my birds". Then I read the first response and there it is. I've got 7 birds so it's a fair bit of work to clean their room. I leave a broom out there for them but all they do is chew on the bristles. They are really messy animals.

Ironing. When I worked we used to send it out. Now that I do the chores this is one of them. I'll clean the toilet with a toothbrush, but please take this ironing away from me.

I don't mind ironing. I find it kind of soothing in a weird way.

I've just noticed your reply to Hatley. Pop round and do my ironing, bring your dishes and I'll wash them in our dishwasher. LOL

I think if I had the money, I would get someone to run errands for me. For instance, there are certain tasks that I definitely not feel like doing. One of those tasks would be to stand in line when I am at the Department of Transportation's office to renew my car tag. I mean, I know it occurs once in a year, but when that day comes, for me it is hell having to stand in line for 3 hours straight. I would pay somebody to stand in line for me. I just find it outrageous why they cannot just create a way to renew our car tags online and pay with credit card. -Feel Free to Disagree!

No, not really, but then again it depends on the person.

Oooh, I think that's a great idea! I hate waiting in lines. I do a lot of that at the post office and the bank because of my business. It would be nice if I didn't have to waste all that time anymore. There are some errands that are just better run yourself though I think. Do you really want some random person buying your underwear for example?

I would hire someone to just wash dishes and clean the kitchen I get so tired of being the only one who knows how to wash a darned dish. My son loves to cook but rarely washes up after himself. I would sit back and listen to tv.

I also hate washing dishes. I wish I had a dishwasher, it would be so much more convenient. They always just pile up until it's totally umanageable.

Call me abnormal, but I love all my chores and errands. I spend the majority of my free time with my butt parked on a sofa in front of a high-radiation (and riduculously expensive) television set, so it's refreshing to get out and do something, even if it's simple like a run to 7-Eleven for munchies or changing over my laundry. I can always use the exercise or fresh air (I walk almost everywhere, within reason), and make everything into an adventure. For me, a trip grocery shopping, taking out the garbage, or even sorthing through my mail is as much fun as going to the pub with friends or seeing a movie. But then nobody ever called me normal. If there's anything I would have someone do for me, it would be plan my meals (though not buy my groceries, as I enjoy that). I'm terrible at it, but then I already have someone who does that for me for free, though I have no idea why she puts up with me sometimes. :P
