For our family it is a time to be together an attend mass at the local church. This is our tradition so no hard ever gets up in a fowl mood for it. After church we stop by a local place that serves the best pizza in the state and a large is only $6! Sunday mornings are the best. Get relaxed...Monday is coming! What is your Sundays like?

The cool thing is...both events involve the family being together. My children are getting older and I know some day they will be moving on and starting their own life just like I did. Each mass or meal to me has value. Do you have a family tradition?

Sunday morning usually means going to Church. It used to mean sleep for me, but ever since the Church canceled their 6:00 pm services, it means I have to attend their 9:00 am services. I have to accompany my parents and grandparents to Church services since it has been sort of become a way we spend family time together. Sometimes, on Sunday mornings, I might clean my room and that is if I feel choked up because it is so messy. I do not work on Sundays although I have entertained the idea for a long time now.

Years ago, in what feels like another life (it was another life actually... as it was before kids), I used to get up early on Sundays to attend church every week. Quite often I would attend hungover, but I was there!
Nowadays, I try to sleep in. Granted, "sleeping in" now means 8:30am. Sad, isn't it? But that is quite a bit more than my usual weekday rise at 6 to 6:30am. My boys would like for us to attend church regularly, but with no car, it's a major pain because of the Sunday bus service which is total crap.
Tomorrow I will laze about in bed as long as I can. I'm still feeling under the weather, and my boys are fairly self sufficient in the mornings so that they can leave me be to rest. They let me alone this morning too, which was really nice. I didn't get up for the day until 9:21am. :D

It's great when they get old enough to open the fridge door themselves and not leave a mess that only industrial cleaning will sort out isn't it. I hope that you enjoy your lie in. Actually as it's 20 to 2 in the morning here, I ought to be in bed and I will be very shortly. I think that a lie in for me is almost guaranteed now. Of course one of the great things about not working at the moment is lazing until late weekdays too. I am served tea in bed at 7am and then I can doze until shower time. Whenever that may be. Sorry, I've woffled on about me. Still it's who I know best.

I was awoken by the boys at 7:30am. They were arguing about screws. Metal screws and plastic screws. They went on and on and on. WHY it was so important to talk about that at 7:30am on a Sunday when you're 7, 7, and 8 1/2 yrs old is beyond me. And they all spoke very LOUD as well. I yelled at them to take it downstairs to the playroom, but by then, I was awake. Sigh!

when I think Sunday morning in my head it is inevitable that the song "Sunday Morning Sidewalk" starts playing in my head - then I get to thinking about someone frying chicken. Then I want to make sure I have chicken thawed out for dinner.
usually sundays around here are not pleasant.... I think it is the devil working on us to ignore the Lord's Day as everyone gets a bit on edge and testy without fail on Sundays. :(

If I am up early enough will go to church but not a regular, most Sundays after a long week I tend to relax as much as possible, today I've got a few bits to do and some dreaded ironing but gonna be pampered when I daughter gets here later. Usually spend a longer time in the bath, perhaps reading a book. Some Sundays I used to have to be at work for 2pm, but don't work the weekends now. Ellie :D

The ironing. How I loathe that word. I don't envy you that. By the way I asked my daughter's friend who's at Guildford how her psychology course was going. "I'm doing nutrition now" she replied. I think that I must have misinformed you. How do you keep up to speed with them?

I usually get up around 7:30 on Sunday's, which is much later than my usual 5:00-5:30. I have some breakfast, a shower and get ready for Church. Sundays are the best day of the week because I get to fellowship with other believers and worship God together with them. It's really special to be all together. After church I usually just go home, have something to eat and relax, get online like I'm doing now. Sometimes I have to finish up homework or meat friends to work on school projects, but it's pretty low key. I try to make sure Sundays are very relaxing. The one thing I never do on Sunday is practice piano. Since I was a child I have always been taught that it is important to observe a "Sabbath" from the things you do the other six days of the week. Our bodies are made to need a day of rest from strenuous work, and so are our minds. Taking a day off helps recharge and refocus on what's really important.

Sunday morning for me is a time for a bit of sleep in.. instead of getting up at 6am on the workdays, on Sunday I can get up at around 830 or 9 ... and then sometimes its either go to play badminton with a few friends for a couple of hours, or go for grocery shopping...
And then of course to go the church in the afternoon ehhehe

Nothing much really. It's just another day for us. Most of the time I am still snoring at 9am while my hubby and son are up early watching tv, playing games or just lounging about. We usually go for a drive in the afternoons and then stop and pick up some groceries on our way home.
how about you?

Most sundays I get to lie in until about 9.00. Then I get up slowly, have breakfast and take my wife to church for 11 Mass. After a late lunch and perhaps a bit of gardening we have snack tea and watch some TV. Then it's bed. Quiet really. I'll get on myLot at some point too.

Sunday means going to church.
It is a day well spend with my wife and children because I'm a busy man. Usually in the evening we will visit our relative or in-law and have BBQ or get-together session. Sometime we will go for outing or picniking. Always looking forward to Sunday. Tomorrow will be Monday.....ehhh..WORKING, WORKING, WORKING....
